Information on Old Website


I will be posting in dept how to do what once our old website comes up, but this will be our perma new one.

But here is what happened to our old website :

My board site will not work or open for anyone that tries to open it. I run an online game auction... which is just for fun no real money involved just game money. And I use Xsorbit as my site choice to place our Auction houses information, Item list for the night and so on.
But it will not open.
I cannot afford or talk my dad into getting me a real site... so I have to look to free ones.

Help please I dont want to have to start all over. Thank you

Hi,

Unfortunately, we are experiencing technical problems with our Systems and Network Co. However, rest assured that they are working on repairing the problem and we are locating other contingencies to access the database. Also, we do no expect the server to be up this week. Thank you.

Xsorbit Customer,

We just received word that the Systems and Network Co is starting on the 5th and last phase of fiber optic repair. However, we are unable to provide a timeframe to avoid giving false expectations. Again, we are monitoring your data from our end and it is still intact.

The Sytems and Network Co concluded the fiber optic repair and are, currently, conducting tests on the server. Due to the delays and frustration, we are requiring them to provide us with a copy of the hard disk where all our information is stored. We are planning on uploading this to a new server. Again, this is still all in the works and is dependent on their cooperation.

SOOO I can get the old information from the old site! and not have to start COMPLETELY over! :D

Thats pretty much it i guess. Woo ! okay done here. Ill post how to do stuff ASAP!

Sorry for such a delay, here is the continued on this on what happened with our old website. And the help I am recieving.

Note: I did not pay for this fourm site. Since my site was free they could have just told me that since it was free there was nothing they could do to help me.

But they did! See!!

I apologize for the delay in my response. I was out of the office during the weekend, looking for another provider. One that is more apt to all of our technical requirements. I'll provide you with an update as soon as it is made available.

We have located an idle server in our system and will allocate this to server 32 board owners. We will post instructions immediately. Please rest assured that this is no longer dependent on the 32 provider and is fully controlled by Xsorbit.

I have the free plan. Even if you dont fix my page I very truely appreciate your help, instead of leaving me in the cold I got to know what happened to my fourm site.

Thank you for your feedback. Please sign up for a new message board. once server 32 is reactivated, we will not immediately deactivate the message boards. Its' duration will be based on how long the server was down. This will allow you to transfer your old information or data that you want to keep to the new boards.

Unfortunately, we are unable to merge message boards. The effect is that one will overwrite the other.

Please be advised that we will keep your support ticket open. We will notify you once server 32 is up and running. This will allow you to retrieve and transfer your data.

I will be looking forward to getting my data transfered! Thank you again so much, I respect the dedication you; and all who helped; put into working on getting it fix. And on keeping me updated on the littlest bits of information, such as looking for another provider and that fiber optic repair thing.

I know I have said this alot but thank you again so much.





Now I know a few of you have to agree that that is some good customer service. I respect them very much and Im having a tough time deciding if I want to go back or not... Well I guess Ill keep the site just incase something happens to this one, can never be to careful!

I have currently had no new updates since last post :(
