I know a lot of you wonder how to add an item and how it all goes after that. So to help all of those pretty much clueless here is the section that will help those who need that information!
First we will start off with how to add your items to the auction. It's very simple; the number one thing you need to do is know what items you wish to enter. If you don't know yet... thats okay too! The next thing that needs to be done is you need to either contact me, or Danielle Steel. We both use ICQ, but I also use Yahoo. Our information will be posted at the bottom.
We are a little picky at the items we put in... but not to picky. We will not put in a "Helm of Swiftness" in the auction without other items with it. Or a "Tokuno Stealable" Unless theres quite a few in the bag. We don't like to waste peoples time on an item they can buy on a vendor for cheap in 1 minute, rather than waste 5 on auctioning off that same item. So please think carefully over what you wish to put in. If its a house cleaning bag, then okay! We would love to help clean your house. We know how stressful and how long that takes. One persons trash is anothers treasure! But also we may decline an item for a week due that we may already have the item in that current weeks auction, but your item would be in the next if you allow us to hold it and still sell it.
Speaking of which... After we have your item, you can message us at anytime asking for it back untill it is auctioned off. It is YOUR item anyways... and you still have say so of what happens to it untill it is auctioned off. Also, you will recieve the item back if it is not sold, unless you tell us otherwise. If you wish for us to try and auction it off again, then we will! With pricing, you give us a starting bid unless you are completely clueless and then ask for help. Even then I might not know! I'm not very good at pricing either... but Danielle is... shes not always around though. But if we think your starting bid is to high we will talk to you about it. If your item doesnt sell you can request the items price to be dropped during the auction and we can attempt to resell. If not then... Maybe next week!!
I think that covers everything basic about the items in general. Now, when you have your item and you have contacted one of us. Get a book that you can write your name as the title. Put your ICQ number or Yahoo ID inside of the book; and also the starting bid of each item you wish to put in. You can put in 5 items at a time, but if you want you can give us a bunch of items to put in for weeks ahead, many people have done this so you would not be the first if you decided too. It also helps me just incase I am short items for the week. I do take inventory on each item you put in, and I check them off as I go so I dont loose any. Anyways... I got a little sidetracked there. So you got the book with all the information in, and you got your item(s), and you put them in a bag and give them to either me, Danielle Steel, Rain, or any other STE guild memeber. Yes there is a guild so it helps to identify who works with the auction and who doesn't.
So once the items are in the possession of the auction, they will be put into the list and auctioned off on Friday. After the auction I will NOT imediatly have your gold, there is still the time after that I have to make sure all the money that we made for the day is there, so I didnt cut anyone short or I wasnt cut short. Also I have to take out 10% and then make everyones checks, and make sure all the checks come out perfect. It sounds like alot of work, but really the more you do it the easier it gets. If you wish to request it I will write in your book when I give you your checks how much what sold for and how much it came to after the 10% was taken out. You would have to remind me though because I have a tendancy to forget. When will you recieve your money? Either the night of when I get the checks done, the day after, or whenever we see one another and get the time to. I am in the East Coast, so the auction is 3 hours before PST people, so its later in the day for me! But... We have changed the auction time and day so I wont be as sleepy! The auction is now at 3pm PST and 6pm EST on Saturdays.
Now that Ive gone over all that... Here are some important things to remember, and a review. -- The last day to turn in items is on Tuesday before I get the auctions book done. -- If you have items in the auction that week you get free VIP! -- The auction takes out 10% commission fee for each item sold. -- You may only turn in 5 items at a time, unless we need more items. -- We are allowed to be picky about what we put into the auction. But not TOO picky. -- You can take your item out of the auction untill it is auctioned off! -- I will contact you at when your gold is ready to pick up after the auction. -- You may turn in items for the auction at anytime, but after Tuesday when the book is done that weeks auction list is closed unless told otherwise. -- We do auction off pets and houses! -- If your item doesnt sell you can roll it over to the next week, or during the same auction you can have the price lowered and we can try to sell it again!

Also... so you know they will tell you if they are on an Alternate character picking the item up. I like to be very secure and make sure my sellers get their gold, and that they do not get scammed by a fake.
